Peachtree City Mayor Harold Logsdon has conceded that he will not seek a second term as mayor.

But Friday morning he was still coy about his future plans, saying he would make an announcement this morning at the breakfast meeting of the Fayette County Republican Party in Fayetteville about his future political plans.

Logsdon said he has enjoyed his time as mayor.

“I plan to spend the balance of this year enjoying our 50th anniversary celebration and getting this budget in order,” Logsdon said.

Logsdon also said he was looking forward “to not being encumbered by the reelection process.”
