Charles M. Voyles, 82, Fayetteville, died April 28, 2009. He was graduated from Young Harris College, and was graduated magna cum laude from the Woodrow Wilson School of Law. He was a lifetime member of the Kiwanis Club of Fayette County with 35 years of perfect attendance. He was a past president of the Fayette County Bar Association, the Fayette County Kiwanis Club, and the Young Harris Alumni Foundation. He was a faithful and devoted member of His Workers Sunday School class at Fayetteville First Baptist Church. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating.

Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Helen Buffington Voyles, Fayetteville; a son, Larry Voyles, Fayetteville; a daughter, Valerie and Darrell Phillips, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Daniel and Alexis Phillips, Emily Phillips, Ben Voyles, and Bethany Voyles; and great-grandson, Andrew Phillips. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fayetteville First Baptist Church Bus Fund, or Young Harris College, P. O. Box 145, Young Harris, GA 30581. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
