A free preview of syndicated radio host Dave Ramsey’s “Finanical Peace University” will be offered this Sunday, Aug.10, at 6 p.m., at Woolsey Baptist Church.

The 13-week lessons on getting out of debt will begin via a video series Sunday, Aug. 24 at 4 p.m. Also, an opportunity will be offered on Thursday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m.

Ramsey says, “Get out of debt the same way you learned to walk, one step at a time.”

He has taught his principles to millions via radio, books, through Financial Peace University, at live events and online. He teaches how to save money, live on a budget, communicate about money, eliminate debt, find bargains, and experience the joy of giving.

More than 500,000 families have completed Ramsey’s course. On average, they pay off $5,300 in debt and save $2,700 in 13 weeks.

Among the course topics are saving, cash flow planning, credit and spending pitfalls, mutual funds, real estate and mortages, and others. To learn more about FPU, log onto www.daveramsey.com or www.woolseybaptist.org
