Captain Victor Ayers, United States Air Force retired, Peachtree City, died Aug. 17, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Ayers, and a son, Victor Felix Ayers III. He was a pilot in the Army Air Force in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. He also was a pilot for 25 years for U.S. Air. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel. Survivors include a daughter, Rusty Diemer, Plainfield, Ind.; grandchildren, Curtis Diemer, Lindsay Diemer, Patrick Diemer, Colleen Diemer, and Emily Ayers; and a sister, Betty Sawyer, Vallejo, Calif. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
