Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Scurry of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Scurry, to Titus Martin, son of John and Marsha Martin of LaGrange.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Auburn University and currently is an event manager with Marriott Hotels in Atlanta.

The groom-elect is a graduate of LaGrange College where he also received his master’s degree and will receive his specialist degree from The University of Georgia in February, 2009. He currently is a calculus teacher at Brookwood High School as well as an assistant varsity baseball coach.

An Oct. 4, 2008, wedding is planned in Fayetteville.
