Mr. and Mrs. Robert Patterson of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Nicole Patterson, to Joshua Paul Cody, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Cody of Fayetteville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Col. Robert Patterson of Akron, Ohio, Brigitte Patterson of Peachtree City, Virginia Gross of Casstown, Ohio, and the late Arthur Gross. She is a 2006 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and is currently employed by the Athens First National Bank and Trust Company in Athens, Ga.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Tillman Oscar Johnson and Hallie Johnson of Fayetteville and the late Bud Cody and Helen Cody of Lexington, Mass. He is a 2005 graduate of Fayette County High School. He is currently a student at the University of Georgia pursuing a degree in interdisciplinary studies. He is employed by Athens Church in Athens, Ga.
The wedding will be July 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Banquet Hall of Alvaton in Alvaton.
After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple will reside in Athens.
