Last weekend, Garrett Lehman of Peachtree City competed in the 2008 Georgia State Water Ski Championships held at Whitestone Lakes near Talking Rock, Ga.
Lehman placed first in slalom making him the current Boys 1 division Georgia State Champion. This also qualifies him to ski in the Southern Regional Championships in Groveland, Fla. July 23-27.
Garrett will be entering fourth grade at Breilinn Elementary school.
His older sister, Shawna, placed third in Girls 2 slalom, third in trick skiing and second in ski jumping.
Shawna will be entering ninth grade at Starr's Mill High School.
