The Peachtree City Fire Department will take part in July 4 festivities again this year with an exposition of its equipment and fire safety activities.
From 2-4 p.m. at Drake Field, the department will have a fire safety house where children and adults can enter to learn about home fire safety. There will also be presentations on outdoor safety and water safety.
The department will also stage a live vehicle extrication to show how the “Jaws of Life” are used to remove victims from serious auto crashes.
