Ms. Karen Hallberg of Peachtree City announces the engagement of her daughter, Lindsay Ann Hallberg, to Eric John Hammarlund, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard T. Hammarlund also of Peachtree City.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and will graduate in December 2008 from The University of West Georgia where she will have earned a bachelor of arts degree in early childhood education. A member of Alpha Xi Delta, for which she held the position of president for two terms, Ms. Hallberg plans to teach following graduation.
The groom-elect is a 2003 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and a 2007 graduate of The University of West Georgia where he earned a bachelor of science in business administration with a major in marketing. He is currently employed with Fastenal in Peachtree City.
A formal wedding is planned for Aug. 2, 2008, at First Baptist Church Peachtree City with a reception at Wyndham Peachtree City Conference Center.
