Edna Grace Payton, 88, Senoia, died April 6, 2008. She was born Aug. 5, 1919 in Newnan. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Alma Kelly Garner, her husband, William Floyd Payton, and siblings, Raymond Garner, Grover Garner, and Vennie Garner Mobley. She joined Open Door Baptist Church in 1996 and remained a member until her death.
Graveside services were at Oak Hill Cemetery, Newnan, with the Rev. Dr. Bob Martin officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia and Millard Askew, Senoia; a granddaughter, Donna Lynn Gladney, Senoia; great-grandchildren, Jessica Grace Hosmer, Atlanta, Brittney Everett and Forest Everett, both of Kansas City, and Megan Willingham, Newnan; and great-great-grandchildren, Zachary Hilton, Joshua Hosmer, Katelyn Hosmer, Chaz Everett, Caleb Everett, and Nevach Everett.
