Suspects broke into car at gym, used stolen credit card at Pavilion

Fayetteville police caught two suspects red-handed Wednesday after they used a stolen credit card at the Target store at the Fayette Pavilion in a “shopping spree."

Police said the card had been stolen from a vehicle parked at the World Gym parking lot, and officers were able to get a description of the person who used the stolen card and a copy of the receipt.

After the suspect’s description was aired on police radio, Sgt. Ernest Stanley saw the suspect entering Best Buy where she was confronted by Officer David Cagle, police said.

Officers obtained the receipt matching the items purchased at Target with the stolen card ... which were found in the suspect’s vehicle along with items linking the suspect to crimes in Gwinnett County, Suwanee and Lawrenceville.

Heather Michelle Sharky was arrested for one count of entering an auto, three counts of financial transaction card theft and one count of financial transaction card fraud, police said.

Alitosh Jenine Reyes was arrested for one count of entering an auto, one count of possession of tools for the commission of a crime and three counts of financial transaction card theft, police said.
