Velma Langley, 93, Fayetteville, died Sept. 17, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy W. Langley. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Gary Boyd officiating. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery, Stockbridge. Survivors include a son, William J. and Charlene Langley, Jacksonville, Fla.; daughters, Elle L. Thompson, Fayetteville, and Peggy L. and John Aydlett, Perry; grandchildren, Tim and Linda Langley, Fresno, Calif., Luanne and Rocky McGinnis, Sevierville, Tenn., Susan and Scott McLean, and Brad and Laurie Langley, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; Allison and Brett Horne, Whitehall, Ark., Lynne and Neal Nelson, Fayetteville; and 14 great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Christian City, 7340 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
