Ruby S. Kitchens, 83, Ocilla, died Sept. 9, 2007. She was born Dec. 12, 1923 in Fayetteville, daughter of Martin L. and Lois Drennan Stubbs. She was a 1940 graduate of Fayette County High School. She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jimmy" Kitchens, and two sisters. She was a former resident of Atlanta and was employed by Lay's Potato Chip, National Biscuit Company, Sears Roebuck and Company, and Modern Fibers in Fitzgerald. She was also a homemaker, and helped manage the family farm. Graveside services were at Frank Cemetery, Irwin County, Ga. Survivors include daughters, Elaine and Mayon Paul, Ocilla, Lee and Rick
Handley, Fitzgerald, and Karen D. And Bart Wilson, Winter Garden, Fla.; two grandsons; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Evelyn Wallace, Fayetteville. Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, was in charge.
