Lois Dobbs, 70, Fayetteville, died Sept. 9, 2007. She was a warm selfless and boundlessly generous soul. She loved to see her granddaughter cheer and never missed a hockey game her grandson played in. She never let the referees get away with a bad call. A private memorial service was held. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, a sweetheart from high school, Robert L. Dobbs, Fayetteville; sons, Gregory and Emily Dobbs, and Douglas and Julie Dobbs; grandchildren, JoAnna Dobbs, and Michael Dobbs; and brothers, Robert McFarland, Donny McFarland, and Roy McFarland. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
