Boy Scout Troop 181 honored its four newest Eagle Scouts on Sunday, July 15, with a court of honor at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Eagle Scout is the highest honor in Boy Scouts, and only 5 percent of all boys who enter Scouting achieve this rank. Eagle Scouts must earn five other rank awards and 21 merit badges. In addition, they must show leadership by planning and directing a service project that benefits an organization in their local community.

Brennan Ott is the son of Mark and Amanda Ott, Matt Powell is the son of Steve and Kim Powell, Craig Huffman is the son of Mark and Mona Huffman, and Brett Zupan is the son of Craig and Beth Zupan, all of Peachtree City. Ott is a junior at McIntosh High School and Powell, Huffman and Zupan graduated from Starr's Mill High School in May 2007.
