A training class on suicide prevention will be offered at Redemption Fellowship beginning Wednesday, July 18, at 7 p.m. The class will be taught by Col. Mike Higgins, senior pastor at Redemption and a chaplain with the U.S. Army.
The class will be based on Higgins’ military training for suicide prevention. Topics will include warning signs of a suicidal person, how to listen to and talk with a suicidal person and other important facts.
