Fayette County Elections Office supervisor, Tom Sawyer, requested those municipalities that will be conducting candidate qualifying to be sworn in as election officials of their municipalities. These include Fayetteville, Peachtree City, and Tyrone who will be conducting elections on November 7. Sawyer has announced that a second location has been secured for early voting. In addition to the election office in Fayetteville, early voting will be available in the Floy Farr Room at the Peachtree City Public Library.

He is waiting for official word on whether those who lives anywhere in the county can take advantage of early voting in Peachtree City.
A reminder is also sent out to those 75 years of age or older or anyone who is handicapped, can require assistance from the poll officers to vote immediately at the next available voting compartment.
