Maurice Herman Hyde, 76, Fayetteville, died July 2, 2007. He was born April 23, 1931 in Coweta County. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha Hyde Garner. He was employed from 1950 to 1971 by Canadian Pacific Railroad, and from 1971 to 1986 by Canadian Pacific Airlines, International. He enjoyed traveling abroad, playing bridge and was devoted to his family. Graveside services were at Forest Lawn Cemetery, College Park with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ann Norwood Hyde, Fayetteville; a son, Randy and Elizabeth Hyde, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Nikki Garner and Alex Hyde; son-in-law, Steve Garner; and sisters, Rachel Hyde Deamer, Florida, and Joanne Hyde Ashley, Atlanta. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
