The Fayette County Marching Tigers would like to invite all band alumni to join them in wishing Kenneth F. Beard a happy retirement during a night of remembering his past 26 years as an outstanding Band Director in Fayette County.
During his 17 year tenure at Fayette County High School, Beard led the band to destinations such as the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, 2004 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, 2005 New Year’s Day parade in London, England, and most recently to Pasadena, California to march in the 2007 Tournament of Roses parade.
The celebration will take place on April 14 at 7 p.m. in the FCHS Commons Area.
