Courtney Hill, 87, Fayetteville, died March 25, 2007. He was born Feb. 14, 1920 in Indianapolis, Ind. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Hill, parents, Sherley and Mary Hill, his twin brother, Whitney Hill, and a brother, Keith Hill. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel. Survivors include a son, Bob and Janice Hill, Fayetteville; a daughter, Margaret H. Mattox, Alexander City, Ala.; grandchildren, Brian and Heather Hill, Stacey and Jeremy Day, and Cristi and Mark Mullins; great-grandchildren, Logyn Hill, Clayton and Norah Hay, and Hayden Mullins; a sister, Margie and Leamon Turley, Cub Run, Ky.; and a sister-in-law, Doris Hill, Dallas, Texas. Memorial donations may be made to Heartland Hospice. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
