“There’s far less emphasis now on the time of the year to sell your home,” says Connie King, broker of ERA Jo-Par Realty in Fayetteville, “but the Thanksgiving-Christmas-New Year holiday season deserves consideration as an opportune time for serious sellers to get their homes sold!”
Why is that so? The answers are numerous. The competition is substantially reduced. Most sellers will withdraw from the market during this season. Hence, those who do sell during the holidays are the exception, rather than the rule. They enjoy less competition, more aggressive pricing, and fewer showings that often yield more offers!
Another consideration… who’s out looking for a home now? Only those who have a compelling need to find a home soon! Fewer in number, yes!, but highly motivated prospects, for certain!
Our best wishes to all our neighbors, clients, and friends of the past 34 years from ERA Jo-Par Realty.
