The Fayette County Youth Council of the NAACP is kicking off its first year of Peer to Peer Tutoring.

This new tutorial program will focus on all school subjects and standardized tests, such as CRCT, GHGT, and SAT of all students grades K-12. The goal is to enlighten and help the youth in the community with core and other academic subjects.

One of the main goals is to assure that every child graduates.

Peer-to-Peer tutoring will take place weekly at various community libraries and is contingent upon our success with getting tutors to volunteer for this program.

The council is seeking students and adults of all ages who would like to help tutor in all subject areas. Groups and organizations with or without community service requirements such as Beta Club, 4-H, and NHS are also welcome to join us in this effort.

If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a tutor for Peer to Peer tutoring, please contact Alice Jones at 770-716-7392 or [email protected] to obtain an application that will be sent via email.
