We had a fantastic time with you and all those involved in the First Annual Father Time Road Race in Brooks. Thank you for your efforts and vision in making this happen. The shirts, the awards, and the fire station finish were incredible.

First and foremost, I would like to encourage anyone who considered doing this race, but for one reason or another could not make it, to make it one of your resolutions this upcoming year to participate with us next New Year’s Eve. The proceeds support our local high school running programs, a worthy endeavor.

It was a wonderful way to enter 2006 with a spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship, fun and cooperation, not to mention great exercise.

To be in the same place with runners running for the first time, or the privilege of running with individuals training for the Olympic trials, we are counting down the days until Dec. 31, 2006 for the 2nd Annual Father Time Road Race.

We salute you and all who made this a reality.
