To the very generous citizens of Peachtree City and Fayette County: The spirit of giving is indeed alive and well in Fayette County. Thanks to our wonderful citizens, who gave so freely from the heart, Embracing Military Families was able to brighten the holidays for nine very deserving families at Ft. Benning.

A total of 40 children woke up on Christmas morning to presents that would not have been possible without you. Eight servicemen and one servicewoman, serving in Iraq, were comforted to know that, even though they couldn’t be there, their families would still know the joy of the Christmas season.

It is difficult to put into words how profoundly grateful I am for your help and generosity in supporting our work with the families of deployed service members. To the Fayette County Republican Women’s organization, the Peachtree City Fire Department, and all of the individual citizens who gave so generously, my heartfelt thanks.
