Since you can’t grow extra hands to help pick up all the leaves you rake, Lawn Claws may be the best alternative.
Lawn Claws are molded plastic scoops that let you grab more leaves, sticks, mulch or other stuff at one time. The handle straps can be adjusted to fit hands of different sizes, and hanging holes allow for simple storage.
Lawn Claws are made by MidWest Gloves & Gear and have a suggested retail price of $5.95. They’re sold at stores including Ace Hardware, Do-It-Best, Lowe’s and TruServ, and they can also be ordered from Woodson Supply at 800-689-9164 or the Do-It-Best online store, www.doitbest.com. (Type “poly leaf scoop” into the site’s search engine to find the product easily.)
