Live in hurricane-prone areas? Move, don’t whine

I just read a story on the Fox News Web site regarding President Bush’s visit to hurricane-stricken South Florida.

Never before has the saying, “It comes with the territory,” been more appropriate when it comes to these pitiful people complaining about slow response time on the part of the government in delivering water, etc.

It’s a free country and you can live anywhere you want to live. You choose to live in an area prone to natural disasters.

The article quoted one lady who says, “We live in an area regularly affected by hurricanes ... I want to know where is the planning?”

Well, where was your planning, lady? Deal with it, lady, and quit your whining.
