Willie Mae Floyd, 86, Fayetteville, died Oct. 6, 2005. She was born Oct. 18, 1918 in Whitesburg, Carroll County. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Floyd, and a son, Douglas Alan Hayes. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor Bill Rorie officiating. Interment was at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Stockbridge. Survivors include a son, Craig E. and Tracie M. Hayes, Newnan; grandchildren, Missy H. and Ben Bushong, Tonia D. and Kevin Bell, and Amanda and Chad Stallings; great- grandchildren, Connor Bell, Bryson Bushong, and Brody Bushong; and a sister, Ruth Evans. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
