Following an island honeymoon, the couple now resides in Belleville, Mich.

Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Mathiesen of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Sydney Lind Mathiesen, to Nicholas Reese Kaigler, son of Dr. and Mrs. Timothy Kaigler, also of Peachtree City.
The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of McIntosh High School. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Furman University in 2005 where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority.
The groom-elect is a 1999 graduate of McIntosh High School and a 2002 graduate of Furman University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration. He was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity.
Following an October wedding, the couple will live in Atlanta.
