Eva M. Jordan, 66, Fayetteville, died Sept. 24, 2005. She was born July 23, 1939 in Cordele, Ga. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert A. Jordan Sr., who died in March, 2003, parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Murray, and a sister, Nell M. Reed. She loved to travel and see other parts of the world. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor Matt McMurray officiating. Interment was at Sunnyside Cemetery, Cordele. Survivors include sons, Bert A. and Amby Jordan, and Terry and Karen Jordan, all of Fayetteville; a daughter, Cynthia and Matt McMurray, Valdosta; grandchildren, Rob A. Jordan, Amanda and James Jordan, and Isabella G. McMurray; and brother, Jim C. Murray, Cordele. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Katrina Relief Fund. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
