Thursday's theme is '80s Twin Day, where students and teachers can select a partner and both come decked out in matching '80s attire. Thursday afternoon the community is invited to watch the parade of homecoming court representatives and floats, led by the JROTC and the Vikings Marching Band.

The parade will begin at approximately 4 p.m. near the Fire Station, proceed down Fischer Road toward Northgate, make a "Viking Loop" through the softball parking lot, enter the main entrance to Northgate and end in the school's front parking lot. Following the parade, the freshman football team will take on the Fayette County Tigers at 5:30 p.m. at Henry Seldon Field. There will be a preview of Friday night's activities as the ladies of the homecoming court will be presented at halftime of the freshmen game.

Friday is School Spirit Day at Northgate, a day for all students to wear Viking colors or their homecoming T-shirts. This year's T-shirt design winners are Chelsie Mathis, Heather Ciastko, and D.J. Arnold.

The community is invited to attend the varsity football game at 7:30 p.m. Friday evening as the Vikings take on the McIntosh Chiefs. The ladies of the homecoming court will be presented and the 2005 homecoming queen will be crowned at halftime.

Following the game, Northgate students, parents, and alumni are invited to attend the homecoming dance. The dance will be held from 9:30-11 p.m. in the Northgate cafeteria. Admission is $3. The gentlemen of the homecoming court will be presented at the dance, with the 2005 homecoming king crowned at approximately 10:30 p.m.

Come out this week and support the Vikings as they celebrate their tenth year of pride and excellence.
