Thursday Thunder season comes to a close
The Thursday Thunder season came to an end last Thursday and though no local racer took home a title, they did compete well last week and throughout the season.
Atlanta Motor Speedway president Ed Clark of Peachtree City started the Roadsters feature from the pole position but finished the race third. In the Masters race, Clark finished in eighth place.
Brooks' Billy Fulson was the pole sitter in the Chargers feature race and ended up winning the race. Joshua Fulson placed 12th in the race. In the Bandits race, Brooks resident Matt Dooley placed 12th, while Fayetteville's Trey Maughan placed second in the Outlaws race.
