One of the bands, Honestly, features Peachtree City resident Matt Dashner on bass. The group sold out The Roxy and has summer tour dates scheduled in New York and New Jersey as they are popular on the national scene.

Also slated to appear is the group Cartel, which is just coming off the Warped Tour at the Pontiac Silverdome and the Hi-Fi Buys Amphitheater.

Also on tap is The Arrival from Madison, Ala., ranked the number one alternative group in the nation on Purevolume.com.

Also featured are two Peachtree City favorites: the bands Chopper John and Tomorrow's Regret along with Someday New, a band that also has roots in Peachtree City.

Tickets are $15 and on sale at the amphitheater. They will be $18 at the door.

A special offer is available for those purchasing tickets at the box office starting today. Those purchasing two concert tickets will get one ticket to Six Flags or Whitewater water park. There are only 50 Six Flags or Whitewater tickets available and once they are gone, so is the offer; to claim tickets, purchasers are asked to bring a copy of this article to the box office at the amphitheater, according to Art Sivertsen, the recreation department's liason with the Youth Council.

After concert expenses are met, all proceeds will benefit the Peachtree City Youth Council, which conducts a variety of community service projects for the area.
