The developer of Eagle's Brooke, Killearn Properties, began developing communities in the Tallahassee, FL, area in 1964 with two 4,000-acre master planned communities, Killearn Estates and Killearn Lakes Plantation, which includes Golden Eagle Country Club. Since entering the Georgia market, the company has also developed Eagle's Landing in Stockbridge, and current projects include Waterfall Country Club at Lake Burton and Kingwood Golf Club and Resort in the North Georgia mountains and Durham Lakes Golf and Country Club in Fairburn.
