Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will offer a worship service of blessing for teachers Monday, Aug. 1, at 7 p.m. This is the first day back in school for many area teachers.

All teachers and people who work in the education system are especially invited to attend and receive an individual blessing.

The service is one of the six prayer and healing services that Christ Our Shepherd offers every year and features the celebrating of Holy Communion, individual anointing and blessing for everyone who wants it, and the musical leadership of the Christ Our Shepherd Flute Choir.

The church is on the corner of Peachtree Parkway and Ga. Hwy. 54 in Peachtree City.

For more information on ministries at the church, call 770-487-8717.
