Pearson has demonstrated a well-rounded balance of accomplishments both in and out of the classroom. These accomplishments made positive impacts on the cadets, the unit and school, as well as the community. His hard work, professionalism and diligence made the difference in his selection.
Pearson oversees every aspect of the AFJROTC program at Sandy Creek including administration, instruction and training of a cadet corps of 100 students. Pearson retired from the United States Air Force in June 2001 after 27 years of honorable service and began his AFJROTC career at Sandy Creek in August 2002.
