Official July 4th T-shirts are in

The new Peachtree City 4th of July T-Shirts have arrived and are now available for purchase. This year's design features a red, white, and blue design of fireworks over the Highway 54 multi-use bridge, complete with golf cart, on a black background. The official Peachtree City logo is on the left sleeve.

Peachtree City spokesperson Betsy Tyler said, "We chose these three elements because they are what so many people visualize when they think of Peachtree City - golf carts, the signature bridge we drive over and under every day, and our fabulous annual 4th of July fireworks display."

The shirts are available in youth sizes for $8 and adult sizes through 2XL for $10 at the Peachtree City Library, Kedron Fieldhouse & Aquatic Center, the Frederick Brown, Jr. Amphitheater, City Hall, and the Peachtree City Tennis Center Pro Shop.

The shirts are provided through an agreement between the City of Peachtree City and the Peachtree City Tourism Association. Some quantities of adult sizes are also available of the 2004 shirts, which feature a burst of fireworks surrounding the city's name.
