Another event that FBL is excited to announce is our annual club picnic. This year the event will be a little different in that it will be a progressive picnic with participants meeting on Saturday, July 23 at 9 a.m. at Harps Crossing Baptist Church. There will be varying length group rides that will reassemble for lunch at Lake Horton at approximately 11:30 a.m. After lunch, there will be a short ride to Brooks for dessert and fun activities. Final details will be sent to members via e-mail and will be posted on the club web site as soon as they are available. Helmets are required during all rides. Non-members are welcome and encouraged to participate.

The mission of Fayette Biking for Life Club is to encourage a close knit cycling community in and around Fayette County, Georgia. To this end, the club will promote safe cycling habits among all types and levels of cyclists, will advocate the development of cycling-friendly roads and cycling recreation areas, and foremost will provide a meeting point for all riders interested in cycling for health and recreation.
