Shell Team honored by PruGeorgia

The husband-wife real estate team of Tom and Jo Ann Shell, also known as the Shell Team, were recently honored as the 2004 Top Sales Team for the Prudential Georgia Realty Peachtree City office.

The Shell Team had a gross closed sales volume of $9.4 million in 2004. These sales placed them in Prudential Real Estate Affiliates' President's Circle, an honor achieved by only the top 8 percent of the more than 58,000 Prudential agents in North America. Their sales volume also earned the Shells a spot on Prudential Georgia Realty's Top 50 Sales Associates list (out of 1,200 agents with the company).

"Jo Ann and Tom have so much experience and a great knowledge of the area," said Managing Broker Kathy Murphy. "These things are great assets to their clients who rely on the Shells to help with the biggest purchase of their lives."

Jo Ann and Tom are native Georgians and residents of Peachtree City for the last 32 years. Jo Ann has more than 25 years' real estate experience. Her awards include lifetime membership in the Fayette Board's Million Dollar Club and the Phoenix Award for 10 consecutive years of Million Dollar Club sales.

They both have attained their Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) designations. In addition, Jo Ann has earned her associate broker's license and is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS).

Tom is a retired executive from Delta Air Lines. He recently earned his Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) designation.

The Shell Team specializes in residential real estate, corporate relocation, and buyer agency. They attribute 85 percent of their business to referrals by previous satisfied customers.
