Cathy's children's needs of growth and education are met through funds provided by the state and by the WinShape Foundation which was established by Cathy in 1984. There are now eleven WinShape Homes; located in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and one in Brazil.
The Hannons', owners of the Southern Crescent Lightning, sole purpose of purchasing the team was to bring another form of family entertainment to this city and surrounding communities. They are taking no salaries and have vowed to give all the profits from this venture
