"Many of these national finalists scored two and three times the national program requirement level," said Jim Balster, director of the National Museum of Patriotism.
Finalists now advance to the competition's KC3 case study phase. This step provides finalists the opportunity to showcase their best practices. KC3 case study results along with program statistics will be combined and reviewed by the national judging panel to determine national winner groups.
National winners will be announced in May. They will be recognized locally and will be guests of honor at the program award gala and ribbon cutting event scheduled for June 2. Group names will become a permanent part of the museum's new Casey KC3 citizenship exhibit.
