The week-long adventure allows children to experience music from around the world, explore the arts, and discover ways the arts are used in everyday life. During the camp children will:
- Learn the music of other countries while discovering arts and crafts that are unique to different areas of the world.
- Learn how to capture and compose great photos.
- Create a radio or television commercial for a new product.
- Learn to work for a television station. People in the industry will share what they do and the skills they needed to succeed in the business.
- Learn about the culinary arts and create a unique display of food.
- Learn about how products are packaged and design their own wrapping paper.
- Write their own song to share with the world.
- Learn and enjoy some music games that even their parents can't do.
- Explore different art mediums - clay, paint, paper mache and more.
- Design and produce their own, original T-shirt.
