"The Women's Imaging Center is committed to offering this community the quality breast-imaging services that are so important for early diagnosis and optimal treatment of breast cancer," said Dr. Debora Coursey-Prah, a board-certified radiologist and the medical director of women's imaging services at the hospital. "Our standard of care is high, but we know that the little personal details and touches are important for patient comfort and trust."
The hospital's auxiliary contributed $100,000 to the center to create "a welcoming ambiance" including artwork and decor along with blanket and gown warmers for patients' comfort.
