HOMES AND NEIGHBORHOODS

Sun City Sandy Creek will consist of several "villages." From single-family homes to attached villas, a diverse mix of housing options will be available. In addition, all housing options focus on one-level living. It is anticipated that homes will range in price from the high $100s to the $300s.

THE ENVIRONMENT

Del Webb says it seeks projects that conserve resources by improving the energy-efficiency of homes or reducing material usage. At Sun City Sandy Creek:

- A minimum of 30 percent of the community will be designated natural areas, open space, parks and recreation areas.

- A private sewer system will serve the residents.

- Gray water from the sewer system will be recycled and used on the golf course and for watering common area within the community.

HISTORY OF THE LAND

Known as the Adams farm tract, this property is one of the last remaining large undeveloped parcels of land north of Hwy. 54. The Adams farm was in active farm production for over 100 years by members of the Adams families until large-scale commercial farming in north Fayette no longer remained a viable option.
