Individuals of all ages will have the opportunity to find an answer to the question, "What on earth am I here for?" The Bible study includes daily readings and open discussions during Sunday school at 9:40 a.m.

Dr. Ted O. Padgett, pastor of First Baptist of Senoia, will address the five major purposes outlined in the book during morning worship services at 11 a.m.

Why 40 days? A spokesperson explains: "The Bible indicates 40 days to be a spiritually significant time period. Some examples include Noah's life being changed by 40 days of rain, Moses being transformed by 40 days on Mount Sinai, Jesus was empowered by 40 days in the wilderness, and the disciples were transformed by 40 days with Jesus after His resurrection."

The author, Rick Warren, is the founding pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, Calif., where he launched the first "Purpose Driven Life" study. Since then, more than 12,000 churches in 50 states and 19 countries have participated in the study.

Those who commit to participate in the study at First Baptist of Senoia will receive a complimentary copy of the book, "The Purpose Driven Life."

The church is at 41 Johnson Street in Senoia. For additional information about the study or other ministries contact the church office, 770-599-3012.
