After signing the closing papers, the couple quickly moved out of their rental home and into the new residence, a home on a large 12-acre tract of land, police said.
The Coweta County Sheriff's Department assisted Peachtree City detectives in executing a search warrant on the Skinner's new residence. Additional charges are expected and the case is still being actively worked, police said.
Police are looking for anyone who may have received a payroll check from either of the Skinners, or anyone else who may have information that could help the investigation.
