Due to the overwhelming number of candidates submitted this year for the Distinguished Alumni award, committee members are anticipating a record number of attendees to the annual event. One award will be given to the outstanding alumnus of each nominating school, plus the Distinguished Alumni award will be given overall to one individual for their outstanding accomplishments.

Three criteria were used to nominate the alumni: the individual has made a significant contribution to their career area; has demonstrated leadership or achievement in their field; and has shown community involvement that makes a difference. Nominations are evaluated and the members of the Annual Alumni Meeting & Dinner Committee make the final decisions.

The Clayton State Alumni Association cordially invites all alumni and community members to attend the upcoming dinner to catch a glimpse of the exciting future that lies ahead for the Alma Mater. Whether you graduated from Clayton Junior College, Clayton State College, or Clayton College & State University, or if you merely attended classes at the institution, you are an alumnus.
