Their director, Don Johnson, was also able to arrange a private tour of Symphony Hall, the home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Boston Pops, where the students were able to perform one of their songs on the Symphony Hall stage.
When the group wasn't performing they spent their time walking along the Freedom Trail and taking in the many sights of the city. They visited China Town, Boston Commons and Public Gardens, the State House, Downtown Crossing, Quincy Market, the Back Bay, the North End, Bunker Hill, the US Constitution Battle Ship, and the Theater District (where the saw the Blueman Group at the Charles Playhouse).
Chorale director Don Johnson is already planning the chorus trip for next year, with hopes of including all Landmark high school choral ensembles in next year's trip. For more information on Landmark Christian School and the Chorale program, please call 770-306-0647.
