Dear Father Paul: A store clerk gave me 20 dollars too much change when I made a purchase recently. At first I thought, "Wow, my good fortune." But, it has been bothering me a lot to have kept the money. Now, I am too embarrased to return to the store. I am 11 years old.- Andy, Fayetteville.

Dear Andy: God has given you a wonderful gift by continuing to call this event to your attention. It's a sure sign of his love for you. Your best bet is to return the 20 dollars to the manager (in private) and simply tell him/her what happened. Trust me, it'll be a wonderful testimony to your honesty and God's love. If that doesn't work for you, telephone the store and get the manager's name, the mailing address and so on then mail the money to the manager with an unsigned note telling what happened. I'm proud of you!

Father Paul Massey will answer your questions.Write him at [email protected] or P. O. Box 510, Fayetteville, GA. 30214.
