Each survivor who registers prior to the event will receive an invitation to dinner for themselves, a spouse, guest or caregiver. The Survivor dinner is a unique opportunity for cancer survivors to meet each other, find common ground with others who have shared their battle and an opportunity for everyone in attendance to celebrate the return to good health and the hope for a healthy future. Guests at the Survivor's dinner will receive a wonderful meal, their Survivor t-shirt to be worn at the Relay, and are eligible for door prizes which celebrate milestones like; Oldest Survivor, Longest Survivor, Newest Survivor, Youngest Survivor, etc.
Survivors who participate in the Relay for Life have the honor and choice of walking in a torch relay from the Fayetteville Courthouse to the Relay for Life event at the Kiwanis Fairgrounds. Survivors also walk the first lap of the Relay and are joined for the second lap by their caregivers.
