On Thursday, March 10, Barney's Goat returns to the Stars stage, along with Duncan and Glaucia McLauchlan and a surprise visit from the Lost Boys. On Friday, March 11, the performers include Long Drop, a group new to the coffee house, the lovely Moira Nelligan, and the Peachtree Wind Ensemble. Saturday, March 12's line-up includes KnightSong and the ever-popular Three Quarter Ale.

The Fayette Family YMCA, 215 Huiet Road, Fayetteville, has been the coffee house's host for the past two years. Tablecloths, candles, imported coffee, mouth-watering desserts and theatrical stage and lighting transform the YMCA lodge into an intimate entertainment venue.

The doors open at 7:45 each evening, and the show starts at 8:15 p.m. Patrons who bring their own mugs receive a discount on hot beverages and are eligible for the "Most Unusual Mug" award.

For additional information, call Offshoot Productions, producers of Stars on the Southern Crescent since 1993, at 770-631-2362 or e-mail the company at [email protected]. Volunteers are always welcome and get to see the show for free.

The event is made possible in part by the Grassroots Award, a program of the Georgia Council for the Arts through appropriations of the Georgia General Assembly and in partnership with Arts Clayton.
